History

IAMCO is a joint venture company, founded in 1991, acting as the Industrial Prime Contractor for the depot level maintenance and the technical support of NATO E-3A (AWACS).

From 15 February 2013, the moment that the Canadian parent company Spar Group pulled back, four (4) parent companies remains in the Board of Directors:
LEONARDO, AIRBUS Defence and Space, KLM and Sabena Aerospace own an equal number of shares in IAMCO.

IAMCO is under contracts with NSPA (NATO Supply and Procurement Agency) and NAPMA (NATO AEW&C Programme Management Agency).
